Lawn Care Specialist

Salary: $16/hour

Looking for summer work? Needing part time? Express Employment is in grave need for those interested in entry level grounds keeping positions with a La Crosse local cemetery! These positions are available to start immediately and offer flexibility.

 

Wage and Hours:

1^st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm, $16/hour

*Part-time is available, Saturdays are paid out double time*

 

Grounds keeping responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Touring grounds in a team or working alone
• Pick up trash, replace trash bins, keeping grounds clean and free of debris
• Water plants, flowers, and other items as needed on schedule
• Monitor grounds for hazards and low hanging limps/branches or overgrown bushes
• Use weed whip to trim overgrown grass and weeds
• Wear proper PPE as required for select tasks

 

Grounds keeping requirements include:

• HSD or GED preferred, but not required
• Previous janitorial experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift 15-20lbs throughout shift
• Ability to stay on task while unsupervised and possess teamwork skills
