Salary: $60-$80k/yr DOE

A Moses Lake company is hiring an Accountant. We're looking for someone with strong work ethic, accuracy, and friendly demeanor. The workplace culture is casual, friendly, and supportive. This position will report to the Controller, and be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day accounting. 

 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm

Location: Moses Lake, WA

Pay: $60-$80k/yr, DOE

Core Responsibilities:

• Full charge AP/AR including entry, processing and reconciliation
• Prepare month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Reconcile bank statements for multiple accounts
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies 
• Provide support for tax filings and other regulatory requirements
• Assist department managers with spend and costs associated with their departments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of securities law, SOX compliance, and double-entry bookkeeping
• Proficiency in financial accounting software, Microsoft Excel and system implementation a plus
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
