Direct Hire - Production Supervisor

Located in Lincoln, NE

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local Lincoln, NE in their search for a Production Supervisor. The successful candidate for this role will be both experienced and skilled with several years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing setting. This is a day shift opportunity with pay dependent on skills and experience.

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with members of the leadership team across departments to meet company objectives
• Review and analyze reports, synthesizing results to draw conclusions and determine strategy and direction for the team
• Plan, assign, and oversee daily workflow for 100-300 employees across all three shifts
• Train, coach, and develop employees including formal and informal reviews and critiques of performance
• Consistently seek ways to improve efficiency and effective use of company budget
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:

• 3+ yrs of management experience in a manufacturing setting required
• Must have experience overseeing a team of at least 100 employees
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Preference given to candidates with ISO experience
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and OSHA guidelines with a strong commitment to safety in the workplace
• Results- and solutions-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Charisma and leadership skills to motivate a team and encourage excellent performance

Schedule/Pay:

• Monday through Friday, day shift
• Pay dependent on experience, education, and skills
