DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Joe SPECIFICATIONS

• Advanced powder finishing application knowledge for the following:
  • Electrostatic charging Tribe & Corona.
  • Application and recovery equipment function and control.
  • Powder coating material chemistries & cure schedules.
  • Metals materials and pretreatment processes.
• Communication skills in reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Ability to read and follow specifications and procedures.
• Ability to follow direction both written and verbal.
• Responsible for proper care and maintenance of application and recovery equipment.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Follow work schedules for production coating functions.
• Follow In-process worksheets and scheduling activities to maximize efficiencies.
• Maintain process Quality Assurance and Quality Control Documentation.
• Maintain and follow preventive maintenance safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Record processing and inventory information according to all department policies..

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Heavy lifting is required for parts and powder boxes 50 to 75 pounds from time to time.
• Repetitive motion, continuous bending stooping and reaching.
• Walking and standing in warehouse and production facility.
• Standing 7-8 hours per day.
• Respiratory Testing will be conducted regularly.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Production environment: Industrial ovens and miscellaneous heating equipment running continuously.
• High noise will exceed 85 Db in some areas.
• Hearing protection is required in areas with sound levels above 85 Db.
• Temperature ranging from 75-120 degrees F with no air conditioning.
• Dusty powder environment in coating booth areas.
• Dust mask or respirator will be required in the coating area.
• Back supports and eye protection are required at appropriate times.
• Must have steel toed shoes
