Shipping and Receiving/Material Handler/Operator Job Summary: A national plastic materials supplier is looking for a high energy "go getter" to work in shipping and receiving to join their team.
Shipping and Receiving/Material Handler Operator Responsibilities:
- Pull and verify orders
- Wrap orders and prepping stock to ship
- Storing and pulling materials in the warehouse
- Select orders
- Loading and unloading trucks as well as move stock with sit down forklift
- Computer work
- Working with FedEx and UPS as well as world ship software
- Receiving inventory and follow inventory guidelines
- Operation of band saws to custom cut sheets of plastic
- Wrap to ship per customer''s requirements
- Assisting in other departments and running other machines such as routers and welders as needed
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st shift 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as required and typically voluntary on Saturday and Sunday
- $17.50/HR
Shipping and Receiving/Material Handler /Operator Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Computer skills
- Lifting up to 75lbs
- Able to wear multiple hats and shift gears quickly
- Previous saw operator experience preferred
- Good math and measuring skills
- High attention to details
- A diploma/GED or related experience is required
