**Job Summary:**
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurately processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers, and reconciling expenses to maintain accurate financial records. This role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of the company''s financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Process invoices received from vendors and suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Verify invoice details and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments.
4. Enter invoice data into the accounting system and maintain updated records.
5. Prepare and execute payments through various methods such as checks, electronic transfers, or wire transfers.
6. Reconcile expenses by matching invoices and payments, resolving discrepancies, and investigating billing errors or disputes.
7. Generate reports to provide insights into accounts payable activities, including aging reports, cash flow analysis, and vendor performance metrics.
8. Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth payment processing.
9. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
10. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts payable processes.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related financial role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

**Salary:** $26-28 per hour (salary range may vary based on experience and qualifications).
