A well-known electrical services company located in Decatur, Illinois is looking for an Administrative Assistant for their wholesale division. This company offers a complete line of services that include: sales of new products, installation of new equipment, and repair of existing equipment.  This is a long-term position.

 

Qualifications for Administrative Assistant

• 2-3 years of office clerical experience
• Familiarity with office concepts, practices and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good data entry speed and accuracy
• Experience in purchasing would be a plus
• Mathematical, spelling, and grammar skills are needed

 

Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant

• Answering multi-line phones
• Opening and distributing incoming mail
• Entering purchase orders
• Tracking inventory
• Verifying invoices
• Resolving price or quantity discrepancies
• Dealing with confidential information
• Keeping filing current
