A leading global agribusiness producing grain-based food products is looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist

 

Qualifications for Accounts Payable Specialist

• 2-3 years accounts payable experience preferred
• Telephone customer service experience is plus
• Familiarity with office concepts, practices and procedures
• Data entry and typing accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment

 

Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Specialist

• Enter/review accounts payable invoices submitted electronically
• Setup suppliers in the electronic system
• Assist suppliers with navigating the invoice submission process
• Match accounts payable, purchase orders, receiving documents, vendor information
• Approve invoices for payment
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers
• Respond to supplier inquiries concerning payment status
• Provide excellent customer service
