• Hours:                         8:00AM – 5:00PM
• Days:                          Monday – Friday, every Saturday 8:00AM – 12:00PM
• Other:                         half day off another day of the week

 

A well-established credit union in Decatur, IL is looking for a Loan Processor. This is a full-time position. 

 

Qualifications for Loan Processor

• Professional and personable with a positive attitude
• Solid customer service skills
• Previous bank or loan experience is preferred
• Previous cash handling experience would be a plus
• Ability to pass a credit check
• Data entry and typing capability along with basic MS Office skills

 

Responsibilities for Loan Processor

 

• Assist customers with account inquiries
• Answer questions and address concerns
• Generate loan documents
• Prepare loan files for underwriting process
• Setup new accounts
• Process member transactions
• Apply payments to loan balances
• Process deposits and withdrawals
• Provide friendly and personable customer service in person and by phone
