Pay Rate: $20-$32 DOE

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm(4:30PM)

Summary/Objective:

 The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of the plant's electrical infrastructure, production equipment, and machinery. Proficiency in handling electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V is essential.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, utilizing both hand and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify breakdown causes and rectify issues.
• Perform connections of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to detect hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.
• Provide recommendations to management regarding the safety of equipment operation.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure system compatibility and safety.
• Utilize basic tools such as multi-meters, pipe benders, and hand tools.
• Adhere to required safety precautions while executing tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to OSHA safety and health regulations.

Competencies:

• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Technical capacity to effectively handle electrical equipment and systems.

 

Required Education and Experience:

• Technical training with exposure to high-speed equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in operating and maintaining production machines.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience in electric equipment repair.
• Background in engine and auto repair from vocational school.
