Job Summary:                    Warehouse/Production Assembler  

 

We are looking for a person who can perform mechanical assembly and also help out with material handling when needed.  This is a stable and growing facility who is looking for add qualified eager workers to their team. 

 

 

Here are some but not limited to job duties:

Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

 Reads and deciphers drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.

 Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with fixtures.

 Uses hand tools, power tools, or custom machines to assemble parts.

 Conducts quality control checks.

 Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.

 Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.

 Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.

 Notifies supervisor of any assembly issues and obtains additional resources to work toward resolution.

 Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and alerting supervisor when repairs are needed.

 Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

 Help to maintain inventory levels by performing cycle counts.

 Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

 Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

Help in shipping, order pulling, packing, loading, unload, moving material in shop area, computer literate
