We are excited to welcome a talented and motivated Quality Engineer to our team to contribute to manage and oversee our quality management system to ensure the highest quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement process control plans, including capability studies and Gage R&R studies.
  • Provide quality-related documents to the manufacturing floor, such as control plans, control cards, and work instructions.
  • Monitor production processes for adherence to control plans and customer requirements.
  • Participate in inspection and sorting of incoming and finished products.
  • Contribute to Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives.
  • Support the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities.
  • Conduct capability studies on new jobs and as needed.
  • Lead supplier quality activities.
  • Participate in the customer field and warranty return process.
  • Perform Layered Process Audits (LPA) as per plan.
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping and health & safety standards.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality-related role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Certified 6-Sigma Green Belt.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
