Yard Attendant

Job Description: As a Yard Attendant, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient operation of a facility. Your responsibilities will include vehicle check-in, detailing vehicles for enhanced appearance and value, safe operation of passenger vehicles, and assisting visitors with guidance and support. Additionally, you'll receive training and development opportunities in forklift and loader operation.

Position Details:

• Compensation: $18 per hour. (Based on Experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 
• Outdoor work environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle check-in procedures, accurately recording and organizing essential information.
• Detail vehicles to enhance their appearance and value, following provided training guidelines.
• Safely operate passenger vehicles within the facility, including participation in drive-through auctions.
• Retrieve keys, license plates, and other items from vehicles and ensure proper storage.
• Assist visitors by offering guidance and directing them to the appropriate personnel for assistance.
• Receive on-the-job training and development in forklift and loader operation.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum one year of consistent employment within the last two years.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must remain vigilant regarding potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Upbeat demeanor to ensure positive interactions with every customer.
