A leading corrosion control company specializing in pipe system restoration is seeking an entry level Route Service Technician and a Shop Assistant for their Sterling Heights, MI facility. These are full-time, permanent opportunities offering paid training and internal advancement along with a great company culture.
The Route Service Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on Corrosion Control Units by conducting service calls during monthly and quarterly route visits.
Route Service Technician Shift & Compensation:
- Days: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, overtime as required throughout the week
- Pay rate: $18.00 per hour to start, review after 90 days of employment
Route Service Technician Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning a service-based role
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and friendly personality
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. by yourself as needed
- Experience with property or facilities maintenance and plumbing is a plus, but not required

Warehouse Shop Assistant Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Assist with cleaning up warehouse and lumber yard when needed
- Checking and maintaining warehouse inventory, placing in proper location
- Communicate with customers/contractors
- Comfortable working in a commercial warehouse environment
- Willingness to learn and assist in other areas, as needed
- Proven attendance record and positive attitude
Pay:
$16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours:
7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday + every other Saturday (depending on workload)
