Café Shift Supervisor - Port St. Lucie ($20/ hr + BOE)

Express Employment Professionals is looking to add a Café Shift Supervisor to our Port St. Lucie team!
Pay: $20/ hr + DOE
Primary Objective:
The Café Shift Supervisor will be preparing and serving various espresso bar drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as creating fresh and delicious salads, sandwiches, and charcutier boards for our members and guests.
Key Duties:
- Maintain exceptional cleaning and uniform standards.
- Manage the service delivery during a shift, staying in constant communication and coordination with the team.
- Work in the café which requires physical activity (i.e., prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, climbing, operating espresso machines), and dining area when not busy.
- Addresses member/guest complaints and offers suggestions to the Manager about appropriate corrective actions.
- Possess strong computer skills; assists in training, maintaining, and reporting using the Club’s POS system.
- Must be personable with members while maintaining a respectful professionalism.
- Must have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Must be a collaborator and customer service oriented.

- This position requires you to work a varying schedule based on the Club’s need. This schedule will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer facing hospitality environment such as luxury hotels, resorts, private club, or related field is required.
- Proficiency with technology and POS systems
- Professional demeanor with the ability to use independent judgement to quickly handle any customer service matters.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner, to interact/communicate with other site employees, members, and guests in a professional and pleasant manner.

- Employees are required to be CPR/AED Certified or must complete in person training and obtain certification at their own cost within 30 days of employment.
