Express Employment Professionals is looking to add a Part Time Pro Shop Retail Sales Associate to our Port St. Lucie team!
Pay: $16/ hr + DOE
Primary Objective:
The Pro Shop Retail Sales Associate will work closely with club members to decide which product will work best to meet their needs by answering any questions and concerns.
Key Duties:
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Knowledgeable about the line of products carried.
- Serves club members by helping them select products.
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Responds to customers’ questions.
- Directs customers to appropriate products.
- Keeps members informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of member interest.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Makes product suggestions to the Manager
- Operates and documents sales and returns in the POS system.
- Maintains the store in a secure and safe manner, alerting management of any potential security issues.
- Assists with inventory, including receiving, documenting, and stocking merchandise.
- Maintains shop in a clean and well-organized manner.
- Maintain and facilitates programs.
- May be scheduled on weekends or evenings depending on requirements.
Requirements:
- Effective listening skills.
- Excellent technology proficiency and ability to operate POS system
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Employees are required to be CPR/AED Certified (having completed in person training) or must complete in person training and obtain certification at their own cost within 30 days of employment.
- Great people skills.
- Upbeat energy level.
- Dependable.
- General math skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening
