Salary: Up to $25/hr

A national company that provides temporary housing solutions in the Washington, DC area is looking for a hard-working and dependable driver to join their team.  The position is based out of their Alexandria, VA warehouse and requires daily delivery driving throughout the Washington, DC metro area.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drives truck to transport and deliver furniture and apartment accessories
• Maintains telephone contact with base to receive instructions or to be dispatched to new location
• Maintains truck log
• Keeps record of materials transported
• Obtains customer signature as required
• Assists unloading and unloading truck manually

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

• High school diploma; MUST have a current and clean driving record; related experience
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Training – on the job
• Working Conditions – Normal warehouse environment
• Hours/Days: 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday (or until each day''s schedule is completed)
