Production Operator

Description:

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for handling large throughputs from the conception of a product through the final staging processes. This role requires someone who is highly adaptable, flexible and willing to learn all of the various production operations.

General daily tasks include:

• Beverage production including but not limited to: brewing, filtering, diluting & mixing
  • Large-scale brewing methods involving high volumes of coffee grounds and water according to product specifications
  • Transfer of coffee concentrate from hosing setup to holding tank and diluted to a specific pH or volume
  • Weighing, sorting and blending ingredients through mixing or homogenizing methods
• Operating a Wild Goose canning line, an automated canning line system designed for packaging the product
  • Requires diligent attention to product weights, quality control and being observant of all moving parts of the machinery
  • Ensuring cans are in the correct state to run through thermal processing
• Operating an American Film and Machinery sleeving line, shrink sleeve and labeling equipment
  • Ensure proper lot codes and dates are marked on cans and cases according to product specification
  • Palletize and wrap cases for secure shipment of material
  • Final quality checks of finished product
• Shipping and Receiving
  • Outgoing and incoming inspection of materials with verification of documentation
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Maintaining proper sanitation of equipment and tools
• Operating a pallet jack and forklift upon certification
• Adhering to SQF & FDA standards
• Responsible for filling out verification logs, production documents and SQF forms
