Accounts Receivable Clerk

Salary: $24 -$28/hour

An Edmonton client is searching for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team.

Accounts Receivable Clerk Highlights:

·         Perform full-cycle Accounts Receivable tasks from Order to Cash, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing transactions.

·         Manage accounts receivable in a high-volume environment, navigating a clientele and office space with an industrial and trades culture.

·         Utilize Traverse as the internal system for accounts receivable operations.

·         Utilize MS Office suite for various administrative tasks related to accounts receivable.

·         Provide accurate and timely assistance with answering phone calls on a multi-line system (12 lines) when required.

·         Strictly focus on accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

·         Adapt to a fast-paced and busy office environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively.

·         Receive training on the custom accounting package used by the company.

·         Requirements:

·         Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable environment, preferably in an industrial setting.

·         Ability to handle rough-around-the-edges clientele and office dynamics, requiring a thick-skinned and personable approach.

·         Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software systems.

·         Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing accounts receivable tasks.

·         Ability to multitask at a high level and take directions effectively.

·         Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         A diploma in a relevant field is preferred, but experience will be prioritized.

·         08:00 AM to 05:00 PM – Monday to Friday

·         $24 -$28/hour
