An Edmonton client is searching for a Document Control to join their team.

Document Control Highlights:

         As a Document Control, you will play a critical role in managing the documentation process within our organization, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established procedures. Your extensive experience and attention to detail will be instrumental in handling a wide range of documents and supporting multiple stakeholders across various projects.

         Key Responsibilities:

         Receive, log, and track engineering drawings, blueprints, and other relevant documents, maintaining comprehensive records of all documentation.

         Utilize knowledge in document filing and data entry to accurately input and manage document information.

         Manage large workload volumes with excellent attention to detail, ensuring all documents are processed and organized efficiently.

         Provide support and engage with multiple stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other team members.

         Perform filing, scheduling, and coordination tasks across multiple projects, establishing efficient workflows to ensure timely completion of tasks.

         Process document scheduling and maintain drawing files, archives, and electronic files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy of information.

         Work within a project management/coordination setting with high volumes, prioritizing tasks effectively and adapting to changing priorities as needed.

         Demonstrate efficiency, attention to detail, and reliability in all aspects of document control, ensuring adherence to project timelines and requirements.

         Utilize agile and adaptable approaches to manage urgent document control tasks and complicated system management challenges.

         Possess 5-7 years of experience in document control within manufacturing, oil & gas, or electrical manufacturing industries, with 10 years being ideal.

         Hit the ground running, completing tasks with minimal supervision and demonstrating a strong work ethic.

         Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and stakeholders, maintaining a personable and organized approach to work.

         Possess relevant certifications or education, such as Office Administration certification from institutions like NAIT or similar, Business Administration certification, and knowledge of Microsoft Access, Data Management, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.

         Qualifications:

         Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.

         5-7 years of experience in document control within manufacturing, oil & gas, or electrical manufacturing industries.

         Proficiency in document filing, data entry, and document management systems.

         Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to handle large workload volumes efficiently.

         Strong communication skills and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders effectively.

         Agile and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage urgent tasks and complicated system management challenges.

         Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and stability in all aspects of work.

         Relevant certifications or education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related fields.

         Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Data Management, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint is an asset.

·         7:30 am – 4:30 pm – Monday to Friday
