Shipper and Receiver / Equipment Operator

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $26– $29/hour

An Edmonton client is searching for a Shipper & Receiver / Equipment Operator to join their team.

Shipper & Receiver / Equipment Operator Highlights:

•             Participate in continual improvement initiatives

•             Understand and follow the company's Quality Management System

•             Generate packing slips for outgoing product

•             Verify receipt of purchased product to purchase order and drawings

•             Generate and record Material Receiving Report, noting short or damaged product

•             Transfer information to the received product such as work order, heat number, material grade, etc.

•             Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load/unload

•             Follow the production schedule to determine whether items are shipping or receiving

•             Verify and document Material Test Results

•             Able to work within a complex, fast-paced environment

•             Knowledge of shipping management and transaction software including MS Office

•             Well-organized and able to multitask but also pay attention to detail and safety

•             Perform other duties as required

•             Knowledge of raw material products and associated governing standards

•             Ability to operate transport and logistics equipment

•             Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license

·         6:00 am – 2:30 pm – Monday to Friday

·         $26– $29/hour
