Responsibilities of Help Desk Specialist:

• Technical support to users working on-site as well as off-site offices
• Install, maintain, and configure desktops, peripherals, phones, mobile devices, applications, and operating systems
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Assist users with PC and Network operations
• PC Security and maintenance
• Responsible for basic troubleshooting of network, wireless connectivity, and cabling issues and cable runs

Requirements of Help Desk Specialist:

• Minimum of two-years experience working with PC’s including: troubleshooting, configuring, installing hardware and software, etc., preferably in a similar role and/or environment
• Certificate from a technical school or completion of undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Systems, highly desired. Specific courses in PC and Network implementation, highly desired
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and O365 preferred
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot PC software and hardware based on a working knowledge of PC architecture
