Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Salary: $28/hr

Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Mechanic for a long term, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $28 an hour depending on experience. The company is looking for someone to become part of the family. It’s a great opportunity to join a close-knit community. Duties for the Mechanic position include:

• Install, Maintain and Repair heavy equipment
• Repair or Replace malfunctioning components
• Troubleshoot on engines and equipment
• Perform Diagnostics
• Disassemble/Restore various mechanical/electrical devices

Requirements for the Mechanist position are:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent and/or certification(s) from Technical school
• At least 1-3 years of Mechanic experience.
• Previous experience with heavy equipment repair
• Must have a strong understanding of heavy equipment repair, a good knowledge of troubleshooting/diagnostics and precision measuring instruments
