We are seeking a Powder Coat Technician for our client company in the Medford, OR area.

JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, application, and finishing of parts using Company powder coating system. You will ensure high-quality results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. 

Requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Prepare parts for powder coating, including sanding, degreasing, masking, and hanging on racks.
• Apply powder coating to various parts and sizes according to customer specifications and established procedures.
• Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the process, identifying and correcting defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and troubleshooting as needed.
• May be required to assist with packaging and shipping finished products.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in powder coating or a related field (preferred). WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!!!
• Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques for powder coating.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
