Express Employment Professionals in Decatur AL is currently hiring Machinist I (Entry Level) for a company located in DECATUR, AL. Position is full-time and has potential for long-term employment.
Skills/Experience Required:
· Form and shape metal material.
· Requires basic knowledge of various metals and of measurements used in the machining process.
· Operates lathes, drill presses, mills, routers, grinding machines, duplicating, and profile machines.
· Works from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs to metal parts.
· Perform daily maintenance check of machine.
· Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion.
· A driver’s license is required as you will be required to operate a Crane and Forklift. If not certified, in-house training may be provided to obtain certification.
· standing, sitting, bending, reaching, squatting, must be able to lift up-to 50lbs.
· Ability to arrive at work on time.
· Perform job duties in an efficient and responsible manner.
