Job Description:

 

We are hiring for a leading local manufacturing company seeking a seasoned and dynamic Upholstery Manager to oversee our sewing operations. This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary of $60,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. The work schedule spans from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The successful candidate will be an individual passionate about production management, with a track record of successfully leading teams to meet production goals.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all sewing operations, ensuring timely and high-quality production.
• Lead, train, and mentor sewing teams to achieve efficiency and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to meet delivery timelines.
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements.
• Maintain equipment, scheduling regular maintenance, and addressing any malfunctions promptly.
• Implement and enforce safety standards and protocols.
• Monitor inventory of materials and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, hire, and train new team members.
• Continuously benchmark production processes against industry best practices and standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing industry.
• Strong general understanding of machinery and equipment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with production management software or systems is a plus.
