Job Title: Irrigation Service Technician

 

 

Position Description: A local Santa Rosa Landscaping company is looking for an experienced Irrigation Service Technician to join their team! The Irrigation Service Technician must excel in all aspects of irrigation systems, including wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching, and installing various components. They should be adept at operating equipment, ordering materials, and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues. This role requires minimal supervision and may involve overseeing a small crew.

 

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and insurability
• Clean criminal record
• Physically fit for irrigation work
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT)

Responsibilities:

• Minimum two years of irrigation experience
• Proficiency in irrigation systems
• Equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to read plans and order materials
• Familiarity with irrigation software and CRM systems
• Leadership skills for crew management
• Compliance with safety procedures
• Documentation of accidents and claims
• Interaction with subcontractors and suppliers
• Adherence to production standards
• Maintenance of clean work truck
• Completion of paperwork and time sheets
• Professional client interaction

Salary Range: $25 to $30 per hour
