We are recruiting for a data entry clerk to complete a large multi-year project. The shift available: 4p-12a. (2nd) This project is on-site downtown, and pay rate is $15/hr. 

 

Job duties:

• Entering court data into computer system Jail Management Software (JMS): court dates, sentences, bond information, etc.
• Answering phones/placing phone calls
• Making Inmate folders/packets
• Process paperwork for inmate release
• Responding to information requests i.e. fax, email, etc. (bond and charges only)
• Entering inmates into computer system (JMS)
• Entering personal data on inmates (screening/classification)
• Making identification wristbands
• Taking booking photos (Federal inmates only and arrest on civil process only)
• Enter inmate personal property into computer system (JMS)
• Copying documents
• Providing customer service at the Records window

 

Requirements

• Sheriff’s Office will provide civilian polo shirts; employee must wear beige/khaki pants (with shirt tucked in), with closed toe shoes
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Sheriff’s Office will coordinate that employees are Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) cleared
