Salary: $20-$25/jhr

A leading distribution company located in Gurnee is seeking a warehouse clerk. This role will include customer service and warehouse responsibilities. This is an evaluation to hire position.

What you will do:

Customer Service & Sales:

• Respond to inquiries, create quotes, and process orders.
• Expedite parts, process returns, and resolve customer issues.
• Source parts, recommend products, and prioritize inventory.
• Identify improvements for customer experience and grow sales.
• Review orders, quotes, and promote long-term solutions.

Warehouse & Shipping:

• Receive, verify, and stock parts and supplies.
• Prepare and package parts for shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment safely.
• Use tools, scales, postage meters, and follow instructions.
• Receive, examine, and record deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting.

Requirements:

• 1+ year customer service/inside sales or mechanical experience.
• Attention to detail, urgency, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and processes.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record.

Monday-Friday
