Electrical Wire Harness Assembly Job Summary: We are hiring Electrical Assemblers at a family-owned contract manufacturer that specializes in custom wire harnesses. Candidates with previous assembly and inspection experience and candidates looking to learn something new are encouraged to apply!
Electrical Wire Harness Assembly Requirements:
- Detailed assembly of components into wire harness assemblies
- Plug, wrap, tape, label wires according to print
- Run wires through cabling
- Measuring wire lengths
- Color matching
- Test finished assemblies
- Bundle/pack finished assemblies
- Reading the customers specifications on part and packaging requirements
- Flexibility to work in different stations as needed
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st shift Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as required
- May be able to accommodate flexible schedules!
- $17.00/HR
Electrical Wire Harness Assembly Qualifications:
- Excellent manual dexterity and eye for detail
- Must be able to see color and pass a color test
- Ability to understand product drawings and manufacturing instructions
- Excellent measuring
- Excellent close range vision
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Able to understand written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Electrical assembly experience helpful but not required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
