Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator Day Shift / Night Shift

Salary: $18.00 DOE $20.00 DOE Nights

We are recruiting for a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operators, Dayshift & Nightshift. 

Want to be our newest team member? You should have experience in setting up and operating plastic extrusion machinery according to production specifications. 

 Responsibilities:

·         Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure product quality.

·         Feed raw materials into machines and adjust settings for optimal output.

·         Conduct routine checks on machinery to identify and troubleshoot issues.

·         Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals.

·         Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

·         Perform basic maintenance tasks on machines and report any major issues to supervisors.

·         Record production data and maintain accurate production logs.

·         Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

·         Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and organized production environment.

Qualifications:

·         Previous experience as a machine operator in plastic extrusion plant operations.

·         Knowledge of plastic extrusion processes and machinery.

·         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

·         Strong attention to detail and quality control.

·         Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

·         Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Technical training or certification in machine operation (if applicable).

·         Physical ability to lift and move materials.

Work Environment:

·         Plastics pipe and profile extrusion manufacturing facility.

·         Plastics production facility with exposure to elements, noise and possibly dust.

·         Required to lift and bend regularly.

·         Required to stand for long periods of time.
