Salary: $18.00-22.00/hr

Express is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for a Property Management company located in Buffalo Ny. This company is a leader in affordable housing development and has been in business for over 20 years.

 

 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 7A-3:30PM OR 8A-4:30PM

Pay Rate: $18-22.00/hour B.O.E

 

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Schedules, coordinates, monitors and performs all maintenace, service requests, & repairs at the employees designated sites.
  • Documented daily maintenance activity including problems encountered, work completed and vacancy updates.
  • Performs, monitors, inspects and conducts evaluations with Community Manger in order to prepare apartments for move for future tenants.
  • Maintains an adequate inventory of property supplies & equipment.
  • Inspects, schedules and/ or performs minor and routine maintenace on all equipment, company vehicles and tools.
  • Tracks and keeps documents available regarding utility shut offs, meter locations, sewer clean outs & building systems. 
  • Reports all liability, property incidents, worker injuries, accidents ect.
  • Responsible for Trash removal, sweeping, vacuuming , ,mopping and wiping down areas.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years'' of construction site management.
  • 5+ years'' experience related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical , appliance, HVAC, & Building systems.
  • Have knowledge of USDA, HUD, REAC, DHCR, or other regulatory agency state inspections.

Other Qualifications & Physical Demands:

  • Must Posses mechanical aptitude
  • Required to have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must Possess a valid Driver''s license & New York State motor vehicle insurance.
  • Must be able to walk, move & transport up to 100lb
