Salary: $15/hr.

Our client, a food manufacturer in Detroit, is seeking experienced Sanitation Workers for their third shift to assist sanitizing of all production equipment. Responsibilities in this role include wiping down, and using machinery as needed to sanitize all surfaces and equipment in the facility daily. 

Location: Detroit, MI 

Position type: Long term, Permanent 

Shift: 3rd - 9:30p-6:00a

Pay: $15/hr. 

Qualifications: 

• 2-3 years previous sanitation or janitorial experience in a hospital, food service, or food production environment required
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50 lbs. 
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in fast paced environment
• Understanding of food and safety regulations and best practices
• Self motivated and enthusiastic
• Strong communication skills with the ability work as part of a team
