We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead a pet resort in Corpus Christi, TX. Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise all company management and indirectly supervise all staff during all hours of resort operation.
• Accountable for all administration and operations, ensuring execution of all employee duties to guarantee maximum guest satisfaction and a quality work environment.
• Achieve planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Plan and analyze Pet Resort's staffing levels, ensuring sufficient development and training for all employees, including management.
• Ensure all employment activities are conducted according to established procedures and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Anticipate, identify, and correct system breakdowns to achieve guest and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate financial data including payroll, cash and receipts, productivity, supply costs, and operating expenses.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers and keep owners adequately informed about operations.

Required Skills:

• Genuine passion for pets and their owners.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate and manage employee performance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a "High Touch" customer service attitude.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and be available on-call 24/7.
• Strong budget, forecasting, and cost control skills.

Experience and Education:

• Minimum 5 years managerial experience in the animal industry, hospitality (hotels), or restaurant industry.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred.
