Express Employment Professionals is looking for an Office Assistant for an Insurance and Financial Company in the Salem area. The main purpose of this position is to perform administrative and clerical support for the agents and office staff.

 

Schedule and Pay: This position is full-time, M-F $16-$19.50 DOE

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Services
  • Assist with office walk-ins
  • Answer telephones
  • Asist with billing inquires
  1. Agent Support
  • Billing Inquires
  • Home changes
  • Assist in Personal Property Inventory
  • Manage cancelation notices
  1. Clerical Duties
  • Filing
  • Restocking forms
  • Compose letters
  • Checking/handling the mail
  • Ordering supplies
  • Daily transmittals
  • Retrieving voicemails and taking detailed phone messages
  • Manage submitted information for accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-year experience in Office Assistant/Support Staff Role
  • Previous experience in insurance a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Effective communication, writing, and organizational skills
