Warehouse Worker / Shipper Receiver

Salary: $20.80 per hour

Our client, located in Nepean, is currently looking for a responsible and experienced Full-Time Warehouse Worker / Shipper/Receiver to join their team. The ideal candidate is someone familiar with operating a forklift and who has a positive attitude!

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year of warehouse experience
• Previous experience operating a counter-balance forklift considered an asset
• Valid forklift certificate as asset
• Strong customer service skills
• Good communication skills (English)
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis throughout the day

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Operating an electric forklift and pallet jack
• Gathering customer orders from the warehouse and loading into vehicles/trucks
• Loading and unloading trucks of products using forklift, pallet jack and dollies
• Wrapping skids of products to prepare for shipping
• Sometimes calculating how many boxes of products needed based on square footage
• Maintaining a clean work environment / warehouse
• Working safely and efficiently
• Helping with counting inventory
• Other duties as assigned

The wage for this position starts at $20.80 per hour.

Monday to Friday Full-time 7:30am to 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
