We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer for a reputable provider of blinds, shutters, and shades. The Installer will be responsible for installing a wide range of window treatments in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in window treatment installation, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering superior results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shutters, shades, and draperies, according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
2. Measure windows accurately to determine the appropriate size and placement of window treatments, taking into account factors such as window dimensions, mounting options, and customer preferences.
3. Prepare windows for installation by cleaning surfaces, removing existing window treatments, and making any necessary repairs or modifications.
4. Assemble and install window treatment components, including brackets, tracks, rods, motors, and hardware, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
5. Secure window treatments in place using appropriate fasteners and anchors, taking care to avoid damage to walls, windows, and surrounding surfaces.
6. Test window treatments to ensure they operate smoothly and meet quality standards, making any adjustments or repairs as needed.
7. Provide demonstrations and instructions to customers on how to operate and maintain their window treatments, answering any questions and addressing concerns.
8. Document installation activities, including measurements, materials used, and any issues encountered, and submit reports to management as required.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and installation materials, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
10. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in window treatment installation or a related field preferred.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of installation techniques for blinds, shutters, shades, and draperies.
• Ability to read and interpret installation instructions, measurements, and diagrams accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing window treatments.
• Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $25/hour plus commission during the evaluation period
