Showroom Sales Assistant

Salary: $42,000 - $55,000

Our client, a flooring company located in the west end, is currently looking for a people-centric Showroom Sales Assistant to join their team. If you are charismatic and enjoy assisting customers through the buying process, this job is for you!

Duties may include, but are not limited to: 

• Greet customers as they enter the showroom
• Assist clients in choosing flooring material(s) and providing samples
• Develop customer relationships by ensuring expectations are met, issues are resolved, and satisfaction is guaranteed
• Schedule appointments with customers who have large projects such as home renovations, multiple bathrooms, etc., to determine their needs and recommend the best solutions
• Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services and features to meet customer needs
• Communicate effectively and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times to ensure exceptional, friendly service
• Keep workspace tidy and organized
• Other duties as assigned 

Are you Qualified? 

• Previous sales or retail sales experience required
• Previous experience with kitchen and bath products a strong asset but not required (will be trained)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills
• Able to learn quickly about new products and technology to perform job efficiently

Assets: 

• College Diploma in Interior Decorating / Interior Design 

Salary: $42,000 - $55,000 per year depending on experience

Schedule:

4 weekdays – 8:00am to 5:00pm / Saturdays 9:00am to 4:00pm
