HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the foreman, heavy equipment operators will be responsible for operating several types of power construction equipment safely and efficiently. 

 

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining, fueling equipment, and notifying the supervisor of equipment repairs

• Preparing required documentation accurately and timely

• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology

• Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate, and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies, and rules.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Possess a valid current Driver’s License

• 3 years experience working on Heavy Equipment, 5+ years preferred

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Understand and use GPS equipment

• Must be willing to work in an environment with exposure to various weather conditions

• Must be quality and production-oriented and willing to follow instructions, including manuals and pertinent literature

• Be willing to travel if required

• Have a positive attitude and team focus
