Job Description of a Foundry Helper:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Foundry Helper for one of our clients in Temple, TX. As a Foundry Helper, your primary responsibility is to assist in the various operations within a foundry environment to facilitate the production of metal castings.
· Pay: Starting at $16.00/hr
· Hours: Monday thru Friday, 5:00am until done for the day (typically no later than 3:00pm)
Role and Responsibilities of a Foundry Helper:
· Inspect, Clean and Line Molds
· Prepare, Install and Remove End Plates
· Sort and weigh various grades of metal
· Use oxylance to cut scrap into small enough pieces to melt
· Keep track of foundry raw material inventory
· Run the sweeper & take out the foundry trash
· Other Duties As Required
Qualifications and Education Requirements of a Foundry Helper:
No Prior Experience Required and High School Graduate Preferred
Preferred Skills of a Foundry Helper:
· Must be able to work in extreme heat
· Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds
· Must be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours each day
· Must be able to operate a Forklift safely
· Must be able to come to work on time each day
