Responsibilities of the Maintenance Tech:

· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal functionality.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to PLC, electrical controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and implement effective solutions promptly.

· Perform repairs and replacements on faulty components or equipment to minimize downtime and production interruptions.

· Collaborate with the production team to address any maintenance-related concerns and ensure the continuous operation of the plastic fabrication process.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, work orders, and equipment manuals.

· Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to create a secure work environment and prevent accidents or injuries.

· Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment as needed.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest modifications to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices and technologies.

Qualifications of the Maintenance Tech:

· Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within a plastic fabrication or manufacturing environment.

· Expertise in PLC programming, electrical controls, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

· Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the ability to diagnose and repair related issues.

· Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

· Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for maintenance and repair work.

· Strong organizational and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred.
