CPA firm in Encino is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced bookkeeper or accountant that can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an individual that can quickly and accurately oversee multiple clients' accounts. Someone that has more of the accounting technical skills beyond just bookkeeper skills. They need more of Accounting side and look at an account and be able to know what tax filings need to be filed or know to do the tax research where needed and also be able to communicative with the partners on a tax level and not just a bookkeeper level for their clients.

General Responsibilities
*            Monthly / Quarterly bookkeeping and accounting including preparation of financial statements
*            Tax preparation skills are highly desired [Not a requirement for this position now]
*            Knowledge of GAAP [preferred but don’t want to limit position. ]
*            Monthly bank, merchant account, and credit card reconciliation
*            Communicate with clients and all applicable parties pertaining to the client.
*            Monthly A/R review and customer follow-up  [preferred not required]
*            A/P management and issue resolution
*            Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Dashboard Reports, and other specialized reports {preferred no required}
*            Research and resolve discrepancies

Preferred Qualifications
*            Minimum 2 years' experience.
*            Must have exceptional organizational skills.
*            Must be able and willing to comfortably and clearly communicate with clients and all applicable parties pertaining to the client.
*            Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
*            Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
