Job description: 
      -Follows Operation instructions to remove burrs and establish edge breaks, radius, 
          and/or surface finishing that conform to blueprint requirements. 
      -Uses power equipment, hand tools and inspection equipment.
      -Visually inspects each part for damage and/or corrosions. 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
-    Verify that blueprints and applicable provisions match the revisions called out on the Manufacturing Procedure. 
-    Operate assigned equipment and follow operation instructions on manufacturing procedures or other planning to meet blueprint requirements. 
-    Set up machines with appropriate tooling and/or fixtures to hold the part. 
-    Uses inspection equipment, including microscopes, to verify conformance of assigned dimensions and finishes.
-    Keep finished and unfinished parts in separate containers. 
-    Tag any discrepancy part(s) immediately for management review and disposition. 
-    Verify the number of pieces completed at the end of the operation.
-    Record the results of the operation by dating and initialing or signing on the
           Manufacturing Procedure.

Required Skills: 
-    Must be able to verify conformance of finished parts using micrometers, dial indicators, microscopes, calipers, profilometers and optical comparators. 
-    Must be able to interpret blueprints. 
Education Required: 

       - Six-month prior ON THE JOB TRAINING.
       -High school diploma or equivalent, or the passing of a company 
         designated performance assessment.
