An Edmonton client is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join their team.

Administrative Assistant Highlights:

·         Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in providing administrative support, including managing phones, data entry for payroll, and assisting with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of office administration experience, possess proficiency in SAGE 50, and demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

·         Manage incoming calls and inquiries, providing professional and courteous assistance to callers.

·         Perform data entry tasks related to payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in entering employee information and hours worked.

·         Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment processing.

·         Utilize SAGE 50 software to perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, report generation, and record maintenance.

·         Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

·         Maintain organized filing systems for administrative records and documents, ensuring easy retrieval of information as needed.

·         Support office operations by performing general administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and coordinating meetings.

·         Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion, adhering to company policies and procedures.

·         Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Pay meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, from data entry to document preparation, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

·         Additional Requirements:

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in office administration or related field.

·         Proficiency in SAGE 50 or similar accounting software.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks.

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others as needed.
