Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee our machining operations. The successful candidate will lead a team of machinists and technicians, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our machine shop. If you have a strong background in machining, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for driving results, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of machinists and technicians to ensure production schedules are met.
• Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee machine setup and programming, ensuring that parts are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for optimization and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Enforce safety protocols and best practices to create a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficiency in operating a variety of machining equipment, including CNC mills and lathes.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
