Position Overview: The Landscaping Crew Leader will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a small mowing team. This position involves supervising crew members, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring that mowing and trimming operations are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, landscaping experience, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a small mowing team, providing guidance, instruction, and support as needed.
• Coordinate daily tasks and assignments, ensuring that crew members are properly equipped and prepared to carry out their responsibilities.
• Perform mowing and trimming duties alongside crew members, demonstrating proper techniques and ensuring quality workmanship.
• Monitor work progress and productivity, making adjustments as needed to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles, ensuring that they are well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Train new crew members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and landscaping techniques.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to address any concerns or issues related to landscaping services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Proven leadership skills and experience supervising a team.
• Strong knowledge of mowing and trimming techniques and equipment.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
