Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques, particularly with stainless steel and aluminum materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metal properties and welding procedures, along with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum components according to specifications.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
Set up welding machines based on material thickness, type, and welding process.
Prepare welding surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components as necessary.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot welding issues and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to complete projects on time and to specification.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder, preferably with MIG and TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminum.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and metal fabrication processes.
Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions, including kneeling, bending, and reaching.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding (e.g., AWS certification) preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
