We are looking for a Production Coordinator for a 6-month contract with our client in Lincolnshire. This is a great opportunity to work for a global manufacturing and recycling company committed to sustainability. This position will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of machines and mechanical equipment.

Duties of a Production Coordinator:

• Support the Supply Chain team by assisting with planning, production scheduling, inventory control, logistics and customer service functions.
• Ensuring all Environmental Health & Safety policies, state and federal regulations, and company procedures are being followed.
• Assist with planning and scheduling both production and logistics activities.
• Participate in inventory control functions and cycle counts.
• Produce dashboard reports and other statistical reporting.
• Communicate with both internal and external customers.

 

Ideal Background for a Production Coordinator:

• 2-3 years of prior experience in a similar role as a Production Scheduler / Planner or Supply Chain Professional.
• Manufacturing and logistics background is preferred.
• Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of business and management principles, leadership strategies, and strategic planning
• Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, and data conversion with ability to present functional specifications to the IT department.
