Shift: Days 6am – 6pm, Nights 6pm – 6am

 

 

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual for a temporary Millwright Assistant opening. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced millwrights to support them in various maintenance tasks and projects.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• ·         Assist millwrights in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• ·         Gather tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance tasks.
• ·         Perform basic tasks under the guidance of millwrights, such as moving equipment, assembling components, and cleaning work areas.
• ·         Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• ·         Help maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• ·         Collaborate with the millwrights and other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• ·         Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

 

 

Requirements:

• ·         Some previous experience or education in a mechanical or technical field is preferred.
• ·         Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• ·         Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• ·         Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• ·         Willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• ·         Basic knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage.
• ·         Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• ·         Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
