Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dedicated individual to join our North Portland franchise as an Employment Specialist. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in connecting job seekers with exciting opportunities in the area, helping us continue our mission of putting 200 job seekers to work with our incredible clients.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Job Seeker Advocacy: Conduct interviews with job seekers to understand their skills, experience, and career goals. Your job is to match them with the perfect job opportunities in North Portland, ensuring a win-win situation for both candidates and clients.

• Sales and Recruitment: Utilize your excellent communication skills to engage with our existing clients, presenting them with top-notch candidates that you've interviewed. Your persuasive abilities will be key in generating job orders and filling open positions.

• Database Management: Keep meticulous records of interviews, sales efforts, and job placements in our database. Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for both internal and external use.

• Time Management and Multitasking: With a fast-paced environment that involves phone calls, in-person interviews, and administrative tasks, you'll need to be adept at managing your time effectively and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a position where you have to manage your day or the day will manage you.

• Competitive Compensation: This is a salaried position with a starting pay range of $40,000 to $50,000, plus commission. Your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with the opportunity to increase your earnings based on performance.
